The meeting
John sat down in a chair, his head between his hands. Chloe had witnessed the entire situation from a distance and decided to approach him. “That looked intense,” she commented. “Is everything alright?” . John attempted to dismiss the mysterious woman with a few soothing words. This did not go well for him; he burst into tears.
Chloe went to get John a drink, and they sat down to chat. They talked for hours about everything, from Heather to John’s new work and the bizarre incident that occurred earlier. Before they knew it, the car exhibition had ended. Chloe could not help but be anxious about John.
She could tell he was upset, and she wanted to make sure everything was well. As they said their goodbyes, Chloe prayed that John would be able to resolve the situation and find some peace. She felt he deserved it after such a difficult day.
John promised to call her that evening to confirm he had arrived home safely.
