Taking a picture
Chloe read the message with a frown on her face. A picture of herself? John knew she didn’t like that, right? She was a professional model, she saw herself often enough already. She wanted to keep work and private life separate. Chloe intended to decline the request.
As Chloe thought about John’s situation, she empathized with how he must be feeling: isolated and far away from home in a strange place. Wanting to ease his loneliness, she decided to send him a photo. She took a few selfies, picked the one she liked the most, and sent it to him with a heart emoji.
She hoped that seeing her smile would bring him some comfort during his time away. Sending the photo was the least she could do to show him that she cared and was thinking about him.
She had only forgotten one detail…
